Thomas McDonagh
Director
Thomas initially joined the practice as a trainee in 2003. After qualifying in 2006 Thomas spent some time abroad and in a number of other practices before re-joining UHY FDW as a Senior Audit Manager in 2015, becoming a Director in 2017. Thomas manages a wide-ranging portfolio of SME clients across many industries and has led teams on a wide variety of large audit assignments.
Thomas has broadened his expertise in recent years, successfully completing Diplomas in both Forensic Accounting and Data Analysis.
Thomas is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland and chairs their Financial Reporting Sub-Committee. This committee represents the views of the CPA Institute on Consultation Papers and Exposure Drafts to the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) and the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
Thomas is a Director and Treasurer of Dundalk Chamber of Commerce as well as being the promoter for the Dundalk Chamber Skillnet.
